1. Information entered into FosterLog
FosterLog allows users to create records such as daily logs, care notes, incident records, behaviour notes, achievements, school information, health notes, contact notes and reports. This information is entered by the user.
2. Local storage
FosterLog is designed as an offline-first app. In the initial version, records created in the app are stored locally on the user's device unless the user chooses to export, backup or share them.
3. Sensitive information
FosterLog may be used to record sensitive fostering-related information. Users are responsible for ensuring that any information they enter, export or share is handled lawfully, appropriately and securely.
4. Cloud storage
The initial version of FosterLog does not use cloud storage by default.
5. Advertising
FosterLog does not use third-party advertising.
6. Analytics
The initial version of FosterLog does not use third-party analytics.
7. Exports, reports and backups
Users may choose to export reports or backups from the app. Once information is exported from FosterLog or shared outside the app, the user is responsible for storing, sending and protecting that information securely.
8. App permissions
FosterLog may request permissions needed for app functions such as saving, exporting or sharing reports and backups. Permissions are used only for app-related functions.
9. Children's information
FosterLog may be used by carers to record information about children in their care. Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to record and handle that information.
